Michael will present some basics, some more-than-basics, and insight into the current state of the Medical Stop-Loss market. SUMMARY BIOGRAPHY

Michael L. Frank is a health and life actuary with more than thirty (30) years of experience, including executive management experience with insurance, reinsurance, employee benefits consulting and managed care entities.   He is President of Aquarius Capital (www.aquariuscapital.com) and consults insurance companies, reinsurers, healthcare organizations, accounting firms, insurance regulators, specialty underwriters, intermediaries, specialty carve-outs, actuarial firms, and other organizations servicing the insurance industry in the US and international markets.  He has served as an adjunct professor for Columbia University’s Masters of Science in Actuarial Science and an instructor for the Society of Actuaries LEARN program teaching reinsurance to insurance regulators in the US and Caribbean market.  He previously served as President of the Actuarial Society of Greater New York (ASNY).  He can be reached at (914) 933-0063 or [email protected].
