Vietnamese Mortality Study Workshop

ASNY is sponsoring a workshop with members of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) in Vietnam and local actuaries to assist them in building Vietnam statutory mortality tables. The workshop includes a presentation about the Society of Actuaries International Experience Study initiative and a demonstration of the SOA experience study tool used by foreign actuaries participating in SOA studies. An open discussion will take place after the presentations that permit both the MoF and New York based actuaries to share their experience conducting mortality and persistency studies.

This workshop should be of interest to international actuaries and actuaries participating in mortality studies. Due to room size constraints, attendance will be limited to the first 15 registrants.

Tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis for the nominal cost of $15.00 per ticket. Due to the limited number of seats available, preference will be given to ASNY members.
