Continuing Education Committee

The ASNY Continuing Education Committee runs various programs throughout the year. These programs are typically of 2-3 hours with one or more speakers presenting or discussing a topic relevant to actuarial practice (excluding Property & Casualty). There is a subcommittee of the Continuing Education Committee that focuses on pensions programs.

• To increase technical actuarial knowledge relevant to a current work project
• To improve general business skills for personal/career development
• To provide continuing education credits - EA, MAAA, PD
• To create an environment for social interaction and networking
